Griffin#
Location: Vermund wilderness — usually plains and ruins areas Suggested level: 8-15
Boss traits:
- Flies — spends most of the fight in the air
- Can be dragged back to the ground — attack its legs
- Weak to fire
Strategy:
- Shoot the wings with arrows: hitting the wings can knock it out of the sky
- Fire weapons / magic: fire enchantments and fireballs deal bonus damage
- Climb and hit the head: once grounded, jump onto its back and attack the head — the weak point
- The mage’s holy ball: the levitating holy ball auto-tracks flying targets — very effective here
Drops: Griffin wing (crafting material)
Cyclops#
Location: All regions — bridges and cave entrances Suggested level: 10-30 (varies by variant) Boss traits:
- Only the eye is the weak point
- Swings a huge club with wide-range attacks
- Some variants wear armor — it must be broken off before you can deal damage
Strategy:
- Shoot the eye: archers / mages aim for the eye — causes a huge stagger
- Climb and stab the eye: thieves / fighters climb up and poke the eye
- Break the armor first: on armored cyclopes, smash the helmet to expose the eye
- Interrupt the wind-up: its charged heavy swing can be interrupted
Drops: Cyclops eye (crafting material), a large amount of gold
Chimera#
Location: Northern forests of Vermund Suggested level: 15-25
Boss traits: lion head + goat head + snake tail — each part has a different weakness
| Part | Weakness | Attack pattern |
|---|---|---|
| Lion head | Fire | Bites, pounces |
| Goat head | Lightning | Ranged lightning |
| Snake tail | Ice | Venom spray |
Strategy:
- Kill the goat head first: it fires ranged lightning — the most annoying part
- Destroy parts one by one: each part has its own HP pool — break them individually
- Interrupt the snake tail early: the tail keeps attacking on its own once the heads are gone — take it out first
- Fire weapons work for the whole fight
Drops: Chimera parts (crafting materials for armor)
Dragons#
There are three kinds of dragons — but the fight logic is similar
| Type | Location | Elemental weakness | Special |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drake | Vermund wilderness | Ice | Uses its breath most often |
| Wyrm | Battahl desert | Lightning | Summons magic |
| Wyvern | Mountain peaks, spiral tower | Holy | Stays airborne longest |
Suggested level: 30-45
Core strategy:
- Climb and hit the heart: dragons have a glowing heart on their chest — the highest-damage spot
- Interrupt the breath: the breath has a clear wind-up — dodge or interrupt when you see it
- The tail can be severed: attacking the tail can cut it off — yields special crafting materials
- Elemental counters are mandatory: bringing the right element doubles your damage
- Stamina items are a must: dragon fights need a lot of climbing — stock up on mushrooms / stamina items
Drops: Wyrmslife Crystals (WLC — core upgrade material), dragon scales
Titan#
Location: Spiral tower Suggested level: 35-45
Boss traits: a colossal stone construct — the largest enemy in the game
Strategy:
- Fight in phases: the Titan’s body parts can be broken down one by one
- Break the legs first: destroying a leg makes it kneel — exposing the body’s weak points
- Climb to the chest core: the core is the biggest weakness
- Magic works well: the sorcerer’s meteor spell deals extreme damage
- Watch the dismount: being thrown off costs a lot of HP — hold on tight
Drops: Titan core
Headless Knight#
Location: Random spawns in the wilderness at night Suggested level: 25-35
Boss traits:
- Appears only at night
- Immune to physical damage — you must use magic / holy damage
- Extremely fast movement
Strategy:
- The holy ball: the mage’s holy ball is its biggest counter
- The magick archer’s homing arrows: homing shots lock on automatically — its speed stops mattering
- If your whole party is physical — just run
- Drops unique equipment — worth farming
Drops: Headless Knight armor (legendary)
General Boss Tips#
- Carry multiple elements: bring at least 2 different elements of weapons / magic to cover different bosses
- The “Help” pawn command: when a boss grabs you, press Help so your pawns rescue you
- Camp buffs: camp before the fight and eat meals — attack / defense buffs
- Weak points have multi-hit detection: hitting weak points not only raises damage — it also extends stagger time
- Revival items: bring plenty of Wakestones — you can revive pawns mid-fight
- Kiting: large bosses move slowly — ranged vocations can kite them
- Opening jump attack: a jump attack at the start of a fight can mount large bosses
FAQ#
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What should you prepare before a boss fight? | Camp and eat meals for buffs — bring plenty of healing items and Wakestones — confirm the elemental counter |
| Can’t beat a boss? | Go explore and level up first — check whether your gear needs upgrading — try a different vocation |
| How do you ground a dragon? | Attack the wings to force a crash — or shoot the wing joints with arrows |
| How do you hit a cyclops’s eye? | Archers snipe it from range — or climb onto its face and attack directly |
| Why won’t dragons drop Wyrmslife Crystals? | Only specific dragons (Drake, Wyrm, Wyvern) drop them — not every dragon does |
| A pawn died mid-boss? | Use a Wakestone to revive it — or rehire at a riftstone after the fight |

Pre-Fight Prep and Pawn Setup per Boss#
Griffin#
Before a griffin fight, travel light — the worst mistake in this matchup is being over-encumbered, which ruins your speed scaling cliffs and dodging. Make a fire-enchanted weapon your main damage source, and bring plenty of healing herbs for the claw combos that follow its dives. Fight on open, flat ground and stay away from trees and eaves, because a single diving slam will smash the Arisen into an obstacle for a second stagger.
For pawns, strongly recommend a mage who can cast the levitating holy ball — it auto-tracks and can knock a hovering griffin into a landing stagger, while an archer focuses fire on the wings to share the pressure. For the main pawn, the “Foresight” inclination is ideal: it calls out a warning before the griffin takes off, giving the Arisen time to raise a shield or roll away.
Cyclops#
The key to positioning is circling its flanks and rear: its frontal club sweep covers a huge arc, while its turn speed is slow. Armored variants must be stripped first — use the Thief’s leap-and-climb skill to get behind it and pry off the gorget and helmet. Keep one pawn in front baiting its attention while everyone else circles behind and concentrates on stabbing the eye.
For pawns, the Thief’s swift climb skill gets them up the face to stab the eye, while a fighter holds aggro so the cyclops doesn’t swat your mage across the arena. Cave cyclopes fight in cramped terrain — set the pawn command to “Follow” to focus damage and stop pawns from wandering into corners.
Chimera#
The threat order across the three parts is goat head, snake tail, lion head. Never stand on a straight line — keep the snake-tail side facing your pawns while you circle to the lion head’s flank. Open the fight with an archer sniping the goat head’s lightning charge, interrupting its strongest ranged pressure, then commit everything to the lion head.
For pawns: the mage keeps focusing the goat head, the thief punishes the snake tail between swings, and the fighter uses a roaring blade to hold the lion head’s aggro. Note that once the snake tail is severed it briefly thrashes out of control — use that window to have everyone pile onto the lion head and dramatically shorten the most time-consuming phase.
Dragons#
For all three dragon types, strongly recommended: an element-counter weapon + at least one pawn with homing magic. Drakes fear ice, Wyrms fear lightning, Wyverns fear holy — confirm which one you are facing before entering the area. Don’t stand in front of the breath path; cut across to the lower side of the chest, from where you can climb straight onto the heart.
Dragon fights are all about stamina and claw positioning. When the dragon rears its head to charge its breath, that is the best window to run from the knee to the heart; the tail hover is about timing the sever — don’t waste that short window. Have the mage cast firestorm magic, a martial thief climb the body, and a “Lone Wolf” thief go for the tail: dismantling the dragon part by part is far more efficient than wild flailing.
Titan#
The Titan has the fastest attack rhythm of any large boss — its charged punch and meteor slam both telegraph with a glowing ring on the ground. Roll out of the ring half a beat before it lights up, and watch for the second-phase sweep that bounces off walls. The instant it kneels after a leg break is the best climb window — don’t hesitate.
Open by having ranged vocations burn the knees, shoulder plates, and chest core to half health, then have every pawn pile onto the core when it kneels. Bringing a sniper-type ranged pawn makes this much easier: ranged vocations can keep chipping from afar and move in once the core is exposed.
Headless Knight#
The Headless Knight is immune to physical damage, so the party must include magical or holy pawns. Keep your distance — its dash is extremely fast, and standing close means eating a full charge. The holy ball plus homing arrows is a simple, brutal combo; switch every pawn’s gear to holy-element skills and the fight turns from a chase into a harvest.
Post-Fight Rewards#
| Boss | Part break | Extra drop | Drop rarity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Griffin | Wings | Wing cloak material | High |
| Cyclops | Eye | Detection talisman material | Medium |
| Chimera | Snake tail | Venom sac / hide | Medium |
| Dragon | Heart / tail | Dragon scales, dragon bone, Wyrmslife Crystals | High |
| Titan | Core | Titan core material | Very high |
If part breaks are incomplete, you will lack materials for top-tier late-game crafting, so when farming dragons, consider skipping the kill reward and prioritizing the tail sever and the heart — take the highest-probability drops first.
