Editorial Policy & Fact-Checking#
This page explains how content is produced at NTGame, how data is verified, and how pages are maintained. We publish it so that readers can see where our guides come from — and how to fix us when we get something wrong.
1. Content Production Workflow#
Every guide and review goes through five stages:
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Topic selection | We prioritize questions players actually search for and discuss: boss blockers, build choices, patch changes |
| Research | Official channels first: in-game testing, official announcements, patch notes, Steam store data |
| Writing | Drafted to a unified house style; every key claim must map to concrete data or reproducible steps |
| Cross-checking | Numbers (damage, drop rates, material costs) are checked against at least two independent sources; in-game testing wins conflicts |
| Publish & review | Published pages enter a scheduled re-verification queue (see section 3) |
Some first drafts are accelerated with AI tools, but every page is reviewed and approved by an editor before publication: data checked, wording revised, hands-on details added. Accountability for quality sits with our editorial team, not with any tool.
2. Data & Source Standards#
- Version-sensitive data (damage values, build efficiency, quest rewards) is labeled with the game version it applies to, and re-checked after major patches
- When we cite external information, official sources come first; community data (wikis, player statistics) is labeled as such
- We do not base guides on “leaks” or rumors; coverage of unreleased content is clearly marked as expectation analysis based on public information
- Probability and drop-rate conclusions note the sample size or data source, so a lucky streak is never presented as a rule
3. Page Updates & Maintenance#
- Every page footer shows a “Content last reviewed” date — the most recent manual re-verification of that page
- After a game update, core guides affected by the patch are re-verified within 7 days
- Guides for released games are maintained long-term; structure, internal links, and data tables are refreshed during review passes
- New and updated content is surfaced weekly on the homepage and section pages
4. Corrections & Feedback#
Reporting our mistakes is the single most helpful thing a reader can do:
- Corrections email: [email protected] with subject “Correction” and the page link
- Response time: within 2-3 business days; verified fixes are applied within 48 hours
- Major data corrections are annotated on the page itself
- You can also use the “Suggest a fix” button at the bottom of any page
Our promise: when a conclusion is wrong, we rewrite or retract it — we never silently edit a page and pretend it was always right.
5. The Editorial Team#
Content is published under pen names; see the editors page for profiles:
| Editor | Focus |

| Long Zhui-ri | Lead guides writer; action & open-world titles |
| Zhanlan Yingren | Indie & roguelike coverage |
| Wu Bian | Industry news & analysis |
| Zi Xing | Hardware reviews & performance |

6. A Worked Verification Example#
Take the damage numbers in a boss guide — here is the full verification process:
- In-game testing: run the same build with identical buffs 10 times and record every hit; we use the median, not the best roll (critical-hit luck shouldn’t skew the number)
- Cross-checking: compare against community wikis; within 2% counts as consistent, anything beyond sends us back in-game for a re-test
- Version check: confirm whether the current patch changes the value — any balance change in the patch notes must be reflected in the data
- Labeling the scope: the page states “based on version X.X, difficulty Y” so readers know exactly what the numbers apply to
When sources genuinely conflict and testing is impossible (say, retired event content), we write out the disagreement and each source’s figures instead of picking one and presenting it as the single truth.
7. What We Will Not Do#
Some content is off the table, period:
- No boosting services, account sales, or gold-trading promotions — these hurt regular players and conflict with why we write
- No unsourced “leaks” — rumors without official confirmation or at least two reliable outlets are never stated as fact
- No content that pushes overspending — gacha and microtransaction guides always include probability and budget context, with a nudge toward rational spending
- No clickbait — every claim in a headline is delivered in the body, or the headline changes
8. Advertising & Disclosure#
This site is funded by Google AdSense. To keep editorial independence:
- Ad slots are served automatically by Google; the editorial team has no hand in targeting individual ads
- Advertising never influences ratings or conclusions; game publishers cannot buy positive coverage from us
- We have no commercial deals with hardware vendors; review units are editor-owned or disclosed samples
- If a sponsored piece ever appears, it will be labeled “Sponsored content” at the top of the page
