| The Tower (Phantom Liberty) | Complete the entire DLC main story | Choose to help Songbird or Reed | V accepts a new identity — loses all combat ability — but gains a new life |
Prerequisite Quest Checklist for Each Ending#
| Ending | Required quests | Affinity requirement | Other conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Sun | “Riders on the Storm” | Panam affinity 3/5 | Complete “Gone Like Smoke” |
| The Star | “Chippin’ In” | Rogue affinity 4/5 | Complete “Ghost Town” |
| The Devil | “Search and Destroy” | Hanako Arasaka’s trust | Choose to trust Hanako in “Search and Destroy” |
| Suicide | None specific — just push the main story to “Nocturne OP55N1” | None | Pick the simplest path at the final choice |
| Secret ending | “Chippin’ In” + “Ghost Town” + Silverhand affinity 5/5 | Silverhand affinity 5/5 | At “Nocturne OP55N1,” select no option — wait 5 minutes |

Final Battle Prep#
| Item | Recommendation | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Level | 45-50 | Below 45, Adam Smasher can one-shot you |
| Weapons | At least 3 Iconic weapons + 1 backup | Recommended: Satori (katana) + Raven (revolver) + Ronin (machine gun) |
| Cyberware | Mk.II Skuff optics + Second Heart + Gorilla Arms | Second Heart grants one extra self-revive |
| Quickhacks | System Collapse + EMP + Suicide | Smasher is extremely weak to EMP |
| Consumables | Bounce Back ×10 + Stamina Booster ×5 + healing items ×5 | You can’t leave the final fight — stock up before you go |
| Armor | Upgrade every armor piece to max tier | With armor below 800, Smasher breaks through in a single hit |
Platinum / All-Achievements Guide#
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Difficulty | Tips |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arasaka Empire | Complete the Devil ending | ★★★ | This ending only needs the main story — no side content required |
| The Fool | Complete the suicide ending | ★ | The simplest ending — unlocks in under 10 minutes |
| Legend | Complete the Star ending | ★★★★ | Requires all of Panam’s side jobs — time-consuming but the best story experience |
| Hand of God | Complete the secret ending (solo raid on Arasaka Tower) | ★★★★★ | Requires Silverhand affinity 5/5 — brutal combat — go in at max level |
| Phantom Liberty | Complete all DLC main jobs | ★★★★ | The DLC main story runs about 15 hours — includes high-difficulty chase battles |
Platinum advice: Push the main story to “Nocturne OP55N1” first — make a manual save — then branch off from that point for each different ending — five endings in one playthrough — the biggest time-saver
Note: The secret ending “Hand of God” demands Silverhand affinity 5/5 at “Nocturne OP55N1” plus staying silent without picking any dialogue option for 5 minutes — many players never learn this trigger and miss the ending entirely
DLC ending warning: The “Tower” ending overwrites your game save — once you finish it you can’t return to free-roam mode — keep a separate save before triggering it
