Crimson Desert Beginner’s Guide#
Crimson Desert has no locked-in class system — your choice of weapons, skills, and equipment shapes your playstyle instead. Early decisions still have a major impact on your opening hours, so understanding the basics before you set out is essential.
Starting Tips#
| Tip |
Details |
| Prioritize main quests |
For the first 5 hours, follow the main story to unlock core systems and your mount |
| Loot everything |

| Activate travel points |

| Don’t skip the tutorial |
The tutorial covers the core mechanics thoroughly; skipping it leads to regret |
| Save often |
Autosave intervals are long, so manual saves prevent repeating long treks |
