Weapon System and New Season Guns#
Delta Force’s arsenal reached 50+ weapons at console launch (as of August 2025), covering every mainstream class: assault rifles, SMGs, snipers, machine guns, shotguns, pistols. This page does not list per-gun stats (exact damage and recoil values defer to what’s in game); instead it makes three things clear: how the weapon system is organized, what the S11 season added, and how the community’s build-code culture changed how players pick up weapons.
Weapon System Overview#
| Class | Positioning | Representative info |
|---|---|---|
| Assault rifles | Mid-range all-rounder | MDR assault rifle (S11 kit output) |
| SMGs | Close-range mobility | Thompson SMG (S11 kit output) |
| Bolt-action snipers | High damage at range | 98K (S11’s new bolt-action sniper) |
| Machine guns | Suppression and sustained fire | M250, QJB201 (boss weapon line), QJB Windfury ammo-feed kit |
| Shotguns | Close-range burst | AA-12 full-auto shotgun (S11 addition) |
| Repeat-fire snipers | Mid-to-long-range repeat fire | M700 repeat-fire kit |
| Pistols | Backup sidearm | 93R pistol kit (S11) |
Two notes on the system:
- “Kits” are the lightweight path to expanding the arsenal: S11 brought the M700 repeat-fire kit, 93R pistol kit, QJB Windfury ammo-feed kit and more in one go — kits convert existing weapons into new forms and reach players faster than brand-new weapons.
- Boss weapons form their own line: night-ops Zero Dam’s Sayed may carry an M250 / QJB201, and Tidal Prison’s Raven uses a .357 revolver — weapons seized from bosses are themselves high-value loot.
S11 “Stars” New Weapons#
The S11 season (launched September 4, 2026) delivered its weapon updates in two batches:
Brand-new weapons:
| Weapon | Type | Positioning |
|---|---|---|
| 98K | Bolt-action sniper | Classic bolt-action design, high per-shot damage route |
| AA-12 | Full-auto shotgun | Close-range full-auto spray |
New kits:
| Kit | Effect direction |
|---|---|
| M700 repeat-fire kit | Gives the M700 repeat-fire capability |
| Thompson SMG | A classic SMG joins the roster |
| MDR assault rifle | A new assault rifle |
| 93R pistol kit | Pistols can switch to a three-round-burst form |
| QJB Windfury ammo-feed kit | Ammo-feed enhancement for QJB-series machine guns |
S11’s weapon cadence confirms the official “shooting platform” thinking: the bolt-action sniper (98K) and the full-auto shotgun (AA-12) fill in both ends of the experience, while kits refresh old guns — one season’s weapon additions cover every engagement distance from close to far.
The Build System and Build Codes#
A weapon’s real combat power = base gun × build plan. The build system lets you tune the barrel, grip, magazine, optic, and other attachment slots; for specific build trade-offs, see Weapon Builds, Attachments, and Ammo.
First, a community fact: build-code sharing is now a community standard. Community sites (guide hubs such as Delta Yituliu) offer build plans, ammo tier lists, and other tool sections; players generate a code from their build and share it, and others apply it in one click. That means:
- New players do not need to understand the attachment system from zero — start by copying a community-verified plan.
- Plans iterate as the season’s attachment pool updates; check a plan’s release version before copying.
- High-end play is about understanding the plan (ammo tier, range trade-offs), not the code itself.
Weapons, Quality, and Ammo Interplay#
- Weapons, attachments, and ammo share the six quality tiers (white / green / blue / purple / gold / red); high-tier weapons and attachments are the main component of Operations gear value — the entry thresholds (Confidential 112,500, Top Secret 550,000 / 600,000) are largely stacked up by the weapon system.
- The ammo-tier-vs-armor-tier matchup is the core of “can I pen it or not”; for ammo selection logic, see Weapon Builds, Attachments, and Ammo.
- From an economy view, weapons are the two-way channel between “assets carried in” and “loot carried out” in Operations — seizing an enemy’s high-tier weapon and extracting is itself one of the most direct ways to profit.
Weapon Acquisition Channels#
| Channel | Detail |
|---|---|
| In-raid looting | Weapon crates, airdrop containers, enemy drops (including boss-exclusive weapons) |
| Mandel Bricks | After decryption and extraction, scan with a Quantum Key for a random weapon skin (collector orange skins are worth the most) — see Economy and Trading |
| Season output | New weapons and new kits ship with season tasks / the pass |
Boss Weapon Lines#
| Boss | Exclusive weapon | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sayed (Zero Dam night raid) | M250 / QJB201 | Heavy suppression firepower; a high-value prize when seized |
| Raven (Tidal Prison) | .357 revolver | A special pistol with extreme per-shot threat |
| Blue Eagle (Brakkish) | HAVVK-64 helicopter | Vehicle-type boss; drops accompany its destruction |
Boss weapons are “a weapon line grown out of the battlefield” — their strength is designed against boss fights, and they pay off most when used in same-difficulty lobbies.
Practical Gun Selection Advice#
A coarse framework by Operations engagement range:
- Building-dense maps like Zero Dam / Tidal Prison: SMGs or assault rifles first; a full-auto shotgun like the AA-12 works wonders clearing rooms indoors.
- Mixed terrain like Longbow Valley / Brakkish: assault rifles as the backbone, plus a mid-to-long-range backup for open stretches.
- Space Base (open ground + long-range holds): the value zone for bolt-action snipers like the 98K — but bolt-actions have low margin for error; if your aim is average, go repeat-fire (the M700 repeat-fire kit route).
- Warfare: mostly mid-range engagements; an assault rifle + machine gun suppression combo is the steadiest.
One final emphasis: this page provides no specific damage values — officials have not published a full weapon stat sheet at the guide level; any concrete number defers to what’s in game, and this column invents nothing.
Weapon metas iterate fast, and S11’s 98K and AA-12 are just the current window — every season’s new weapons and kits reshuffle the environment. Following the season update page and community ammo tier lists ages better than memorizing any single guide page.
