Economy System and Trading

If Operations were a market, Havoc coins would be the reserve currency, Mandel Bricks the hard currency, and the Auction House the exchange. This page breaks down Delta Force’s currency system, the full Mandel Brick mechanics, and cash-out paths from an economy perspective — understanding this system changes your account’s net worth more than another week of aim practice.

1. The Four-Currency System#

Currency Role How to Get Where It Goes
Havoc coins Base in-raid currency of Operations and Auction House currency In-raid looting, selling loot Auction House trades, in-raid paid extraction, gear value measurement
Terracotta coins Premium currency Top-up purchases Market / in-game store
Terracotta Tickets Token from the pass and market Season Pass rewards, market output Buying Mandel Bricks, cosmetics, and more
Limited-time Terracotta Tickets Event currency Time-limited events Event exchanges (e.g., 3,900 limited-time Terracotta Tickets for the second anniversary)

Why Havoc Coins Are the Core of Account Value#

Three roles decide their status:

  1. Entry threshold unit — the Confidential 112,500 / 187,500 and Top Secret 550,000 / 600,000 gear lines are all in Havoc coins.
  2. In-raid instant purchasing power — paid extraction (10,000 Normal / 40,000 Confidential) settles directly in Havoc coins.
  3. Auction House settlement currency — the first outlet for cashing out loot.

From an economy perspective, the quality of your Havoc coin cycle (carried out minus brought in) is your “operating profit” in Operations. That free players can profit steadily is the core virtue of this economy’s design.

2. Mandel Bricks: the Hard Currency of Loot-Fight-Extract#

The Mandel Brick is the most important value carrier in the game; the full mechanics follow:

Acquisition#

Channel Rule
In-raid pickup Dynamic map spawns (icon on the minimap)
Warfare settlement Top 20% weekly ranking earns 1 brick, capped at 2 per week
Large-battle ranking Distributed by personal score ranking
Brick duplication While the carrier decrypts, teammates can duplicate to earn extra bricks

Blitz mode’s short match length makes it widely regarded as the most efficient brick farming route. Note: bound event bricks cannot be traded.

Decryption Flow#

  1. After picking up a Mandel Brick in a raid, escort it to a decryption station.
  2. Hold position for about 4 minutes to complete decryption.
  3. During decryption, teammates can duplicate to earn extra bricks.
  4. Only after decryption completes and you extract with it does the brick truly belong to you.

The 4-minute hold is the riskiest window of the whole match — the attack and defense over the decryption point is itself a small-scale siege (competitive play’s “match-point brick” rule is built directly on this; see Esports Viewing Guide).

Cashing Out#

Path Notes
Quantum Key skin scan After extraction, scan with a “Quantum Key” for a random weapon skin — collector orange skins are worth the most
Matrix Market / Auction House sale Sell directly for Terracotta Tickets

The community also has tools like the “big red brick opening simulator” (offered by sites such as Delta Yituliu) for modeling brick-opening expectations — proof that players treat brick opening as a field of study. The game also has a “Brick Factory Boss” trophy, awarded for successfully extracting a Mandel Brick.

3. Terracotta Tickets: the Free Player’s Growth Currency#

The two sources of Terracotta Tickets (the pass and market output) define how you accumulate them:

  • Pass output: season missions and pass level rewards (see Season Pass and Missions).
  • Market output: selling Mandel Bricks and other high-value items.
  • Where they go: buying Mandel Bricks (a reproduction loop) or cosmetics.

The second-anniversary event once handed out 3,900 limited-time Terracotta Tickets at once (staged logins + mission claims) — the event cadence of limited-time tickets is the official periodic faucet for free players; watch event pages so you don’t miss out.

4. Auction House and Market#

Platform Currency Typical Goods
Auction House Havoc coins In-raid loot, fishing catches (S11 fishing output can be listed)
Matrix Market Terracotta Tickets / Terracotta coin system Mandel Bricks, cosmetics

The fishing system added a “non-combat production line” to the Auction House’s supply side: unlocked at Operations level 17, fishing is available in the waters of Zero Dam, Longbow Valley, and AZ3, and catches can be listed directly on the Auction House — the official, legitimate outlet for “earning money without firing a shot”.

5. Three Iron Rules for Economy Players#

  1. Gear value is investment: the entry thresholds (112,500 → 550,000 → 600,000) are a stepped risk exposure; calibrate each tier’s gear budget to what you can afford to lose.
  2. Mandel Bricks are the reserve asset: both ends — acquisition (in-raid / Warfare weekly settlement) and cash-out (skins / sale) — are backed by official mechanics, making them the hard currency of value transfer between accounts.
  3. Use tools: community tools for auto-priced secure containers, build plans, and ammo rankings essentially flatten information asymmetry — in economy play, information is profit.

6. Summary#

Question Answer
How to earn Havoc coins Extract more value than you deploy with; containers and bosses are the mainstay
How to accumulate Terracotta Tickets Season Pass + selling Mandel Bricks + event handouts
How to earn Mandel Bricks In-raid pickup, escort, and decryption, or Warfare weekly top 20%
Where skins come from Quantum Key scans of Mandel Bricks; collector orange skins are the most valuable

Lead designer Liao Lei said “there is no single definition of winning in extract shooters” — but from the economy’s perspective, the game draws the minimum definition of “winning” very clearly: every item you carry out is a priced victory.
