Challenges and Missions#
The challenge system is the main source of Battle Pass progress. It is designed to be forgiving — most objectives do not ask you to win, only to do a certain thing, so you can push it forward at a very low time cost.
Types of Challenges#

How to Handle Daily Challenges#
The value of daily challenges is that they do not dictate your playstyle. Most objectives are things like “deal damage with a weapon class” or “get a number of eliminations on a map” that you complete in passing.
| Approach |
Effect |
| Glance at the day’s objectives before you drop |
Pick the matching weapon or map without thinking about it |
| Never change your playstyle for a single objective |
The cost of changing outweighs the reward |
| Clear two or three in one match |
The most efficient method |
| Drop objectives that do not fit at all |
The time cost exceeds the payout |
How to Handle Weekly Challenges#
Weekly challenges are the main driver of Battle Pass levels, so clear them once a week on a fixed schedule instead of letting them pile up.
| Step |
Notes |
| Read the list first |
Find objectives you can push in the same match |
| Combine them |
For example, “eliminate with a shotgun” and “finish top five on a map” can be done in one game |
| Prioritize limited-time objectives |
Do the parts that overlap with event challenges first |
| Leftover scattered objectives |
Fill them in slowly during normal matches |
Common Objective Types and How to Finish Them#
| Objective type |
How to finish it |
| Deal damage with a weapon class |
Keep one weapon of that class in the loadout; you do not have to main it |
| Get a number of eliminations |
Land in a mid-sized area and avoid hot drops |
| Finish top five |
Rotate along the edge and avoid early team fights |
| Respawn or revive teammates |
Happens almost every game in a trio |
| Use a specific Legend’s ability |
Fill the slot in passing; you do not have to main that Legend |
| Open a number of supply bins |
Open them as you pass; do not hunt for them |
Whether Progress Is Shared#
| Situation |
Shared? |
| Enemies eliminated by the squad |
Most elimination objectives count for the whole squad |
| Damage objectives |
Usually only damage you personally deal counts |
| Rescue objectives |
Only revives you personally complete count |
| Placement objectives |
Shared across the squad — if a teammate hits top five, it counts for you |
| Bin and pickup objectives |
Only actions you personally perform count |
A small squad tip: placement objectives are best done together as a trio, which is the most efficient route; damage objectives are not worth chasing as a group, so everyone should just fight their own fight.
The Relationship Between Battle Pass Progress and Challenges#
| Source |
Rough weight |
| Weekly challenges |
The main source |
| Daily challenges |
Supplemental, but substantial over time |
| Season challenges |
Large chunks of progress at stages |
| Matches themselves |
Steady, but low return per unit of time |
Doing weekly challenges alone is enough to keep Battle Pass progress at a normal pace; finishing early requires stacking daily challenges and match volume on top.
Priority of Event Challenges#
Event challenges usually have a shorter deadline than the season, and their rewards often include limited-time cosmetics. If you log in during an event, clear the event missions first and go back to the weekly challenges afterward.
| Judgment |
Action |
| Less than a week left in the event |
Clear the event first |
| Event tasks need a specific mode |
Switch to that mode and finish them in one sitting |
| Event rewards include exclusive cosmetics |
Raise the priority |
| Event tasks overlap with weekly challenges |
Push both at once and finish two sets in one go |
A Three-Round Efficiency Plan#
Split challenges into three rounds and you will almost never be rushing progress at the end of a season.
| Round |
Timing |
Goal |
| Round one |
Start of each week |
Clear the combinable objectives among that week’s weekly challenges |
| Round two |
During daily matches |
Pick up daily challenges and leftover scattered objectives in passing |
| Round three |
Final two weeks of the season |
Focus on season challenges and limited-time content |
Common Mistakes#
| Mistake |
Problem |
| Swapping your main Legend for one challenge |
Your rhythm breaks, and the payout is far below the cost |
| Saving weekly challenges for the weekend |
Objectives expire easily, and rushing them at the last minute lowers quality |
| Ignoring event deadlines |
Missed limited-time cosmetics are not compensated |
| Grinding challenges while ignoring match quality |
The Battle Pass goes up and your rank goes down — a bad trade |
