Platform Differences, Settings Optimization, and FAQ#
Delta Force is a genuinely multi-platform game: the CN service launched on PC and mobile simultaneously on September 26, 2024; overseas mobile followed in April 2025; PS5 and Xbox Series X|S arrived on August 19, 2025 — with cross-platform play and cross-platform progression supported throughout. This page sorts out the differences between the three platforms, performance-optimization thinking, and the questions new players ask most.
1. Three-Platform Comparison#
| Item | PC | Mobile | Console |
|---|---|---|---|
| CN launch | 2024-09-26 | 2024-09-26 | 2025-08-19 (overseas) |
| Overseas launch | 2024-12-05 (Steam / Epic) | 2025-04-21 | 2025-08-19 |
| Cross-platform progression | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| Mobile optimization | — | Mobile controls get dedicated optimization (details per in-game) | Controller support |
Three-platform data points:
| Milestone | Data |
|---|---|
| Overseas PC launch (2024-12) | Global wishlist passed 2.5 million; peak concurrent players topped 210,000 |
| Overseas mobile launch (2025-04) | 10 million new players worldwide in 4 days; No. 1 on the App Store free chart in 169 regions and the Google Play free chart in 125 regions |
| Console launch (2025-08-19) | Topped the PlayStation Trending chart |
| Steam peak concurrent | 210,413 (2025-08-24, per SteamDB) |
No reliable source on the specific UI and control differences between mobile and PC surfaced this round, so no claims are made here — defer to the game itself.
2. Anti-Cheat#
The whole game runs Tencent’s self-developed kernel-level anti-cheat ACE (Anti-Cheat Expert). Two things every player should know:
- Kernel-level anti-cheat has system-permission requirements; follow the official instructions during installation.
- In matches with suspected cheaters, make good use of the in-game report tool — the ACE system relies on report data flowing back.
3. Performance Notes After the S11 Engine Upgrade#
S11 moved the multiplayer modes as a whole to Unreal Engine 5, with an update package of about 75GB (replacing base resources). Suggestions for performance-related questions:
| Step | Advice |
|---|---|
| Update prep | Use the official two pre-download windows (S11 precedent: 8-31 and 9-02 rounds) to avoid launch-day download congestion |
| Disk space | Reserve space for a 75GB-class update package; clear drive headroom first |
| First launch | The first launch after an engine swap involves shader compilation; stuttering is a normal part of the process |
| Settings tuning | Go by in-game FPS; pre-S11 optimization experience needs recalibrating |
This page does not recommend specific graphics presets — after S11 there is no reliable public data on per-platform performance, and dishing out numbers from memory would be fabrication, so only methodology is given.
4. FAQ#
Q1: Which map should a beginner play first?#
Zero Dam on Normal difficulty. Low entry requirements (armor capped at tier 4, tier-3 ammo caliber), random extraction points open, low boss threat — the friendliest teaching environment in the game. See Beginner’s Guide and First Steps.
Q2: Do I lose everything on me when I die?#
No. Contents of the Safe Box survive even a failed extraction; everything else on you drops on death. That is also why the Advanced Safe Box (from buying the Season Pass) and the Top-Tier Safe Box (season tasks) are so valuable.
Q3: What can’t be put in the Safe Box?#
Four categories: weapon attachments, Mandelbricks, Geros Judgment Cards, and in-match injectors. See Loot and Stash Management.
Q4: How do I read the hacker terminal’s password?#
The three-digit decoding rule: dots = 1-5, dashes = 6-0. Large safes use five-digit locked decoding.
Q5: Why can’t I get into the paid extraction point?#
Paid extraction points have a closes once 4 players have paid cap — the fifth member of a full squad can’t pay in and must find another exit. The fee is 10,000 Havoc Coins on Normal and 40,000 on Classified.
Q6: How do I claim the weekly Mandelbrick?#
In Warfare’s weekly settlement, the top 20% get 1 Mandelbrick, capped at 2 per week, awarded by personal-score ranking; Blitz’s short matches make it the efficient brick-farming route. Bound event bricks cannot be traded.
Q7: How do I unlock fishing?#
Unlocks at Operations level 17; the waters of Zero Dam / Longbow Valley / AZ3 are fishable, and catches can be listed on the Market.
Q8: How do I unlock operators fast?#
Vyron via day-4 sign-in; Vlinder via the S8 Season Pass free tier; Rover via the S11 Season Pass free tier; Toxik (Zoya) at Genesis Pass level 15; Hackclaw by collecting 500 GTI event tickets. Full table in Operator Unlocks and Squad Comps.
Q9: What if I can’t beat a boss?#
Check mechanics first: Reis’s melee one-shots, so keep your distance; Raven’s melee executes outright; Demoulin comes with two automated war vehicles; night-ops Saeed may carry an M250 / QJB201. Counter by counter in Bosses and Contracts.
Q10: Why does the Longbow Valley train extraction take longer now?#
S11 revision rules: 1 minute after pulling the lever to open the doors, then another 3-minute wait — about a 4-minute exposure window overall; plan your extraction timing backward from the new rhythm.
5. Where to Find More Tools#
The player ecosystem has matured into full tool sites (such as community one-map dashboards) offering season-task lookups, password-door codes, weapon builds (build codes), ammo tier lists, NPC HP and armor data, Safe Box auto-packing calculators, Mandelbrick-opening simulators, and more. Sharing build codes is a community standard — using community tools well is the shortcut that turns information gaps into profit.
