IX. Three Things to Confirm Before Buying#
| Check |
Why it matters |
| Are you OK with early access |
Content is still expanding; some systems will change |
| Do you have friends to play with |
Co-op is the biggest addition over the originals |
| Does your hardware qualify |
Recommended specs run one tier above minimum; below minimum the experience suffers noticeably |
X. Day-One Advice#
- Drill scanning and fabrication in the shallows first — don’t rush the depths.
- Build the Bioscanner early and turn scanning into a growth track.
- Keep the first base conservative: storage and a Biobed.
- Scan unknown creatures before deciding to skirt or pass.
- If you have teammates, agree on roles before setting out — 1.2’s proximity voice exists for exactly this.
