Split Fiction is a mandatory co-op action-adventure game. You must play with another player, either via local split-screen or online co-op. The game has a tight pace, alternating between sci-fi and fantasy worlds every chapter, introducing new abilities and mechanics each time.

如何开始 / How to Start

本地分屏 / Local Split-Screen

1. 确保两个控制器连接至同一台设备

2. 启动游戏后选择 本地合作 (Local Co-op)

3. 主玩家使用主账号，第二位玩家使用访客账号

4. 主玩家推进的进度双方共享

5. Make sure two controllers are connected to the same device

6. Launch the game and select Local Co-op

7. P1 uses the main account, P2 uses a guest account

8. Progress is shared between both players

在线联机 / Online Co-op

1. 一位玩家购买完整版，另一位下载 免费友票版 (Friend’s Pass)

3. 友票玩家接受邀请后自动加入

4. 只有主玩家的存档会记录章节进度，但收集品双方独立保存

5. One player buys the full game; the other downloads the Free Friend’s Pass

8. Only the host’s save tracks chapter progress, but collectibles are saved per player

Split Fiction’s co-op mechanics go further than the previous title. Each chapter not only gives Mio and Zoe different abilities but also demands cooperation under completely different rule sets.

双世界协作 / Dual-World Cooperation

科幻章节中 Mio 的能力偏向科技侧，如能量护盾和重力操控；奇幻章节中 Zoe 的能力偏向魔法侧，如元素法术和召唤。两人需要在自己的强项时刻承担主要推进角色，在对方的章节中提供辅助配合。

In sci-fi chapters, Mio’s abilities lean toward technology like energy shields and gravity manipulation; in fantasy chapters, Zoe’s abilities lean toward magic like elemental spells and summoning. Each player takes the lead in their own story while supporting the other in their partner’s world.

同步操作 / Synchronized Actions

• 双人开关 / Dual switches — 两人必须同时按下两个相隔较远的开关
• 接力跳跃 / Relay jumps — 一人搭建平台，另一人借助平台前进
• 镜像谜题 / Mirror puzzles — 两人在镜像空间中执行对称动作

新手合作技巧 / Co-op Tips for Beginners

沟通至关重要 / Communication Is Key

几乎所有谜题都需要 两个人同步行动。建议使用语音聊天保持实时沟通。即使无法语音，游戏内置的 ping 系统也能帮助你指示目标位置。

Almost every puzzle requires synchronized actions. Voice chat is highly recommended for real-time coordination. Even without voice, the in-game ping system helps indicate target locations.

视角管理 / Camera Management

• 平台跳跃时，控制视角的玩家应将镜头拉远

• 不要两人同时疯狂转动视角

• 战斗时尽量让两个角色都在视野范围内

• During platforming, the camera-controlling player should zoom out

• Don’t both spin the camera wildly

• During combat, try to keep both characters on screen

分工探索 / Divide and Explore

许多场景有两条分支路径，建议两人分别探索后共享发现。这样可以更快找到隐藏的手稿和收集品。

Many areas have branching paths. Have each player explore a different route and share findings. This speeds up finding hidden manuscripts and collectibles.

无限续关 / Unlimited Retries

游戏有 无限重试 机制，死亡后会在最近检查点立即复活，没有任何惩罚。大胆尝试不同的解法吧。

The game has unlimited retries. You respawn immediately at the nearest checkpoint with no penalty. Feel free to experiment with different solutions.

分屏设置 / Split-Screen Settings

• 分屏方向可设置为 水平 或 垂直

• 垂直分屏更适合超宽显示器

• 可在设置中随时切换

• Split-screen can be set to horizontal or vertical

• Vertical split works better on ultrawide monitors

章节选择 / Chapter Select

完成游戏后，可以从主菜单的 章节选择 (Chapter Select) 回到任意关卡补收集品或挑战更高难度。章节选择会保留你当前所有的能力和升级，方便回溯通关。

After completing the game, use Chapter Select from the main menu to revisit any chapter for missed collectibles or higher difficulty challenges. Chapter Select retains all your current abilities and upgrades.
