Dune: Awakening Achievements List and How to Unlock Them#
Achievement Overview#
Dune: Awakening ships with 73 achievements on Steam, and every single one is publicly listed. The overall structure is easy to read: prologue and basic-system tutorials, five school training sets, story act milestones, the three-tier fabricator trio, kill counters, exploration goals, and a handful of hidden achievements.
Going by global Steam stats, most achievements sit in the 30%-60% completion band, while 12 achievements are under 1%. The rarest of them all, Master Assassin, has sat at 0% for ages — a true holdout that refuses to budge.
Starter and System Achievements#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Welcome to Arrakis | Complete the prologue |
| Stake Your Claim | Place a Sub-Fief Console |
| Job’s Done! | Complete any contract |
| Strength In Numbers | Join or create a guild |
| Time to Relax (hidden) | Sit down in a chair |
Time to Relax is the classic “shockingly missed” achievement — plenty of players log dozens of hours before remembering that chairs can actually be used.
The Fabricator Trio#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Basic Machinery | Place a Fabricator, Small Ore Refinery, Fuel-Powered Generator, Blood Purifier and Small Chemical Refinery |
| Advanced Machinery | Place the Weapons/Survival/Vehicle/Armor Fabricators, Medium Ore Refinery, Wind Turbine, Windtrap, Improved Blood Purifier, Spice Refinery and Deathstill |
| Ultimate Machinery | Place every advanced fabricator + Large Refinery + Large Wind Turbine + Spice-Powered Generator + Advanced Deathstill |
The three achievements map directly onto the fabricator upgrade path and unlock naturally as your base grows. Ultimate Machinery is the long-haul goal (under 1% completion).
School Training Achievements (All Five)#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Swordmaster | Complete all Swordmaster training |
| Trooper | Complete all Trooper training |
| Mentat | Complete all Mentat training |
| Bene Gesserit | Complete all Bene Gesserit training |
| Planetologist | Complete all Planetologist training |
All five require tracking down every trainer and maxing out the skill trees. Since there are only about 200 skill points to spend, prioritize unlocking skills first, then circle back to finish off the training achievements.
Story and Character Achievements#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Echoes of the Past | Complete part one of the story |
| The Assassin’s Handbook | Complete part two of the story |
| Past, Present, and Future (hidden) | Awaken your Prescience |
| Eye-Opening | Consume spice for the first time |
| Lisan al-Gaib (hidden) | Refuse the sandworm vision’s offer |
Lisan al-Gaib ties into a special encounter late in the main story and sits at roughly 4% completion. Many players miss it by accepting the vision’s offer, so make a save before the key choice.
Kill-Count Achievements#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Slaver Slayer | Eliminate 500 slavers |
| Kirab Killer | Eliminate 500 Kirab |
| Desertion Equals Death | Eliminate 500 deserters |
| Strike Breaker | Eliminate 500 Sandflies |
| Scrappy | Eliminate 500 raiders |
| Heretic Hunter | Eliminate 500 Maas Kharet |
| Master Assassin | Eliminate 500 hostile House troops |
| Boss Rusher | Eliminate 50 bosses |
Master Assassin (0%) and Miner (hand-harvest 10000 units of every resource type, 0%) are the two great walls on the road to full completion. Both call for a deliberate, long-term farming plan.
Vehicle, Building and Survival Achievements#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Across the Sands | Craft a Sandbike |
| Above the Sands | Craft a Scout Ornithopter |
| Vehicle Master | Craft every vehicle |
| In Their Footsteps | Craft a Stillsuit, Static Compressor, Vibration Hammer and Stilltent, then place a Deathstill |
| Vampire | Draw 50000 ml of blood |
| Water Shippers Hate Him | Dew-reap 50000 ml of water |
| Thirst Quenched | Drink from a container 1000 times |
| Deathstiller | Recover 100 corpses with a Deathstill |
| Feels Like Home | Furnish your base with 20 furniture pieces + 5 rugs + 10 lights + 5 decorations |
| Bannerman | Place a banner at your base |
| Reuse / Eco-Friendly | Repair 100 items / recycle 100 items |
Most of these accumulate on their own as you play, but the water and blood totals are worth starting early — passive collection adds up slowly.
Exploration and Social Achievements#
| Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Explorer | Survey every region of Hagga Basin |
| Merchant | Visit every trading post in Hagga Basin |
| Among the Griffins / Hawks | Visit Riftwatch / Helius Gate |
| Harko Village / Arrakeen | Visit both major hubs |
| Sea of Sand | Reach the Deep Desert |
| On Top of the World (hidden) | Summit Mirzabah |
| Desert’s Grasp (hidden) | Reach the top of the Hand of Khidr |
| Dentist (hidden) | Reach the Stone Sentinel’s mouth |
| Staring Contest (hidden) | Escape from a sandworm’s mouth and meet its gaze |
| Trader | Trade with another player |
| Pressures of Thirst | Buy a glass of water |
| House Operator | Reach military rank 5 with any faction |
| Political Influence | Donate a vehicle to the Landsraad |
| Weapons Manufacturer | Craft a Lasgun |
The hidden landmarks here are easy to miss without a route plan, so mark Mirzabah, the Hand of Khidr and the Stone Sentinel on your map before heading into the deep desert.
Suggested Route to Full Completion#
- Phase one (0-30 hours): prologue, basic systems and school training all unlock naturally as you push the main story.
- Phase two (30-80 hours): the fabricator trio, vehicle crafting, exploration achievements and story achievements.
- Phase three (long haul): grind the 500-level kill counters on a weekly schedule; save Master Assassin and Miner for the final push.
- Throughout: hidden achievements are mostly one-time choices or special locations — get in the habit of saving before major story beats.
