The two protagonists of Split Fiction, Mio and Zoe, are not just playable characters but represent two截然不同的 creative souls. Mio writes science fiction; Zoe creates fantasy stories. Throughout the game, you will experience both worlds — each switch brings全新的 visual style and gameplay mechanics.

Mio — 科幻作家 / The Sci-Fi Writer

Mio is a writer focused on hard science fiction. Her stories are filled with high-tech cities, artificial intelligence, and space adventures. Her abilities typically involve technological devices, energy manipulation, and data interference.

Zoe — 奇幻作家 / The Fantasy Writer

Zoe 热爱古典奇幻，她的笔下世界充满魔法、精灵、巨龙和远古遗迹。她的能力以自然魔法、元素召唤和变身为主。

Zoe loves classical fantasy. Her written worlds are filled with magic, elves, dragons, and ancient ruins. Her abilities center on natural magic, elemental summoning, and transformation.

Mio shields the casting Zoe, while Zoe transforms to pass through areas and opens doors for Mio from the other side. Their abilities form a perfect complementary loop.

Mio lifts heavy objects with gravity while Zoe freezes the water beneath them to hold them in place. Or Mio walks on ceilings while Zoe lights dark areas below with fire.

Zoe’s vines give Mio reach to data nodes, which Mio decodes to unlock new areas. In combat, Zoe’s thorn barriers restrict enemy movement while Mio strikes precisely with the data dagger.

In the final chapter, Mio and Zoe’s abilities begin to merge:

Zoe 获得：空间操控 / Space Manipulation

Mio 暂停时间让 Zoe 有足够空间折叠空间，或者 Zoe 创造分身协助 Mio 完成需要双人操作的数据终端。两人的能力在最终章达到了完美的互补。

Mio freezes time so Zoe has enough room to fold space, or Zoe creates a clone to help Mio operate data terminals that require two people. Their abilities achieve perfect complementarity in the final chapter.
