《双人成行》最具特色之处在于:每章都废弃前一章的全部能力,重新开始。这听起来可能令人沮丧,但实际上这正是游戏保持新鲜感的秘诀。每个章节的 Cody 和 May 能力都围绕该章的特定主题设计,提供完全不同的合作体验。

The most distinctive feature of It Takes Two: every chapter discards all previous abilities and starts fresh. This may sound frustrating, but it is exactly what keeps the game feeling fresh. Each chapter’s Cody and May abilities are built around that chapter’s specific theme, providing a completely different co-op experience.


第一章 — 棚屋技能 / Shed Skills

Cody:钉子枪 / Cody: Nail Gun

技能类型:远程创造 / Ranged Creation

钉子枪允许 Cody 在绝大多数木制表面上创造攀爬点。这是一个”为伙伴铺路”的技能——Cody 自己基本用不到钉子,但 May 完全依赖钉子进行垂直移动。

The Nail Gun lets Cody create climbing points on most wooden surfaces. This is a “pave the way for your partner” skill — Cody barely uses nails himself, but May relies entirely on them for vertical movement.

进化:随着章节推进,钉子枪的弹容量会增加,回复速度也会变快。后期钉子可以钉入更硬的表面。

Evolution: Ammo capacity increases and regeneration speeds up as the chapter progresses. Later nails can penetrate harder surfaces.

Evolution: Later, charged shots fire larger sap balls with higher bounce. Sap duration extends.

Time Stop is one of the most powerful abilities in the game. It pauses all mechanical movement, letting May safely pass dangerous zones. In combat, it creates the perfect damage window.

Evolution: Duration increases from 3 to approximately 5 seconds. Cooldown decreases.

May:钩爪 / May: Grappling Hook

The Grappling Hook provides unmatched mobility. May swings across chasms, rapidly closes or creates distance, and pulls objects. It can also hook certain enemies to pull them closer.

Evolution: Later, the hook can be chained (cancel then immediately reuse). Pull force increases.

Gravity Flip completely changes spatial perception. Within purple zones, Cody flips gravity so May walks on ceilings. One of the most creative abilities in the game.

Gliding lets May fly short distances. Best used with Gravity Flip — gain height from the flip, then glide across large areas. Updrafts extend glide distance.

Evolution: Glide speed increases, hang time extends. Later, some items can be used while gliding.

Cody:分身 / Cody: Doppelganger

The Doppelganger lets Cody be “two people.” The clone perfectly copies movements, useful for simultaneous multi-switch操作. It respawns after a cooldown if destroyed.

Evolution: Clone duration extends. Later, the clone can perform more interaction types.

In the final chapter, Cody and May receive no new skills but must fuse all abilities from the first six chapters. It serves as a final exam, testing mastery of every skill.

能力设计哲学 / Design Philosophy

Hazelight 在技能设计上有三个核心原则:

Hazelight follows three core principles in ability design:

1. 互补性 / Complementarity

每章两人能力都是互补的——一人的能力创造条件,另一人利用条件。从来不会出现两人有相同能力的情况。

Each chapter’s abilities are complementary — one creates conditions, the other exploits them. The two never share the same ability.

2. 低门槛高上限 / Low Floor, High Ceiling

任何玩家都能快速上手新能力(低门槛),但精通需要练习(高上限)。比如钩爪——勾中锚点很简单但精妙摆荡需要技巧。

Any player can quickly pick up a new ability (low floor), but mastery requires practice (high ceiling). Example: the Grappling Hook — hooking an anchor is easy, but precise swinging takes skill.

3. 每章重新开始 / Fresh Start Every Chapter

通过废弃已有能力,Hazelight 确保玩家始终保持”初体验”的新鲜感。这也意味着游戏不会有冗长的技能树或升级系统。

By discarding old abilities, Hazelight ensures players always feel the freshness of “first experience.” This also means no lengthy skill trees or upgrade systems.


技能练习建议 / Practice Recommendations

  1. 不要跳过教学 / Don’t skip tutorials — 每个新能力都有简短的教学区域,不要跳过
  2. 利用安全区域练习 / Practice in safe zones — 战斗前的区域通常没有敌人,适合练习
  3. 轮流尝试两个角色 / Swap roles — 如果可能,两人互换角色体验不同视角
  4. 记住快捷键 / Remember shortcuts — 每个角色的技能按键都是固定的(鼠标右键 / LT / L2)
  5. 配合大于个人技术 / Cooperation > Individual skill — 即使个人技术再好,不配合也无法通关
