序章：爆发日 / Prologue: Outbreak Day

Joel and his daughter Sarah spend a normal day in Austin. At night, a neighbor’s dog starts barking, followed by terrifying events. Joel takes Sarah in his truck trying to escape, but a soldier under orders shoots civilians. Sarah is killed in Joel’s arms.
