It is playable as a WeChat mini game, a Douyin mini program, Android and iOS apps, 4399’s browser cloud-game version, and the Yingyongbao PC version. Watch out for the same-name game. Around 2016, 4399 also ran an unrelated Master of the World — a youth-oriented social action game with real-time battles, a marriage system, and five schools. It has no connection to this title. Everything on this page concerns only the cultivation idle game launched in 2024.

The Core Loop#

Daily play reduces to four steps: idle output builds cultivation → push realms and the main storyline → strengthen divine arts and True Spirits → challenge the Demon-Suppressing Tower and other modes.

  • Idle output: combat runs on auto by default, and the cultivation that realm progress requires is produced by idle spirit clusters — your job is configuration and tradeoffs.
  • Realm advancement: breakthroughs require reaching the corresponding main-story stage plus other prerequisites; this is the spine of progression.
  • Divine-art growth: every class has three layers — a core divine art, active divine arts, and passive divine arts — and the core art rotates as realm stages advance.
  • True Spirit growth: once the protagonist reaches Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4, True Spirit summoning opens, and the Heavenly Sound Bell brings mythological figures in as fighting companions.

The Three Classes#

Class Full title Official positioning line Core divine art during Foundation Establishment
Lingxiao Lingxiao, the Way of Force Wields battle-qi, strong at charging in, excels at core divine arts Thousand-Seizing Spear Canon (battle-qi core build)
Wanjian Wanjian, the Way of the Sword Wields sword-qi, masters the kill, excels at blood-battle attacks Cloud-Sky Sword Canon (basic attacks become sword qi; leans on basic-attack crits)
Yutian Yutian, the Way of Arts Wields thunder, masters all arts, excels at active divine arts Thunder-Wielding True Formula (thunder arts; leans on core and active divine arts)

The class-by-class differences are broken down in the class-analysis sub-guide, and the divine-art list with its realm-stage rotations in the skills sub-guide — both on the Chinese hub (see Full Guides below).

The Realm Chain#

Realm names verified in public guides, from lowest to highest:

Foundation Establishment → Core Formation → Nascent Soul → Spirit Transformation → Void Return → Mahayana

Foundation Establishment itself contains finer sub-levels such as “Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4.” Qi Condensation — the usual starting realm in the genre — never appears directly in verifiable material, and the full ladder with breakthrough conditions follows the in-game text.

True Spirits at a Glance#

  • Unlock condition: the protagonist reaches Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4; the entrance sits inside the Blessed Land.
  • Rarities: Immortal, Sacred, and Sacred · Rare.
  • Summon cost: Heavenly Sound Bells; the summoning pool’s level can also be raised with bells.
  • Pity rule: every 10 summons guarantees one random full Sacred-rarity True Spirit card.
  • Verified roster: Nezha, Yinglong, Xuanming, Jiutian Xuannü, Donghuang Taiyi, Xihe, Gouchen Dadi, Qingluan, Kuafu, Bai Ze, Yuelao, Chiyou, Zhurong, and Feitian — with Yang Jian and Sun Wukong appearing in the official store description. The total number of True Spirits has not been announced officially.

Main Modes#

Mode Verified points
Demon-Suppressing Tower Each floor is a single boss; each clear grants Divine Art Formulas, every 10 floors grant Visualization Charts and Demon-Slaying Tokens, and an auto-advance checkbox keeps the climb idling
Sect Secret Realm Sect-based group content, mentioned across multiple 9game guides
Demon-Sealing Trials / Demon-Sealing Forbidden Land Advanced challenge modes; the two names come from different sources, and the in-game text prevails
Demon Prison / Myriad Demon Wildlands Challenge modes mentioned in 9game guides
True Spirit Demon-Hunting A demon-hunting mode tied to True Spirits (9game guides)
Co-op dungeons Group challenges with other players and one of the main sources of growth materials
Arena / cross-server play The PvP direction (Zhihu guides and 9game cross-server lineup discussions)
Imperial exam quizzes, trade runs, treasure hunts, formations Daily-life modes (Android channel-page description)

Resources#

Resource Verified use

Demon-Slaying Token Every tower attempt consumes one — success, failure, or mid-run exit alike

Visualization Chart Reward for every 10 tower floors cleared
Heavenly Sound Bell Spent on True Spirit summons; also upgrades the summoning pool
Divine Art Fragment Material for divine-art star ranks

New-Player Perks#

The official store description lists these starter benefits: a free, system-granted 400-summon bonus, a first-month 30-day check-in, and a 7-day check-in. Exact claiming rules follow the in-game text.

Presentation#

The official store blurb describes the look as “a 2.5D curved antique-styled world map, with a variety of ancient Eastern mythological spectacle scenes built in.” No verifiable count of maps or list of scene names turned up, so none is printed here.

Daily Routine Advice#

  • Collect idle gains first thing on login, then handle the main storyline and dailies.
  • Put resources into your current class’s core divine art and your main fighting True Spirit instead of spreading them evenly.
  • Save tower pushes for after a visible power jump: every attempt burns one Demon-Slaying Token whether it succeeds or fails, so do not grind attempts into a wall.
  • Two leaderboards track progress — a level ranking and a Demon-Suppressing Tower ranking — so pushing floors also builds your standing.

Common Questions#

Question Answer
Does it demand constant manual play? No. Idle play and auto-battle are the default shape; hard content can be switched to manual.
Which class should a new player pick? The three-way tradeoff comes down to output rhythm — see the class table above and the class-analysis sub-guide.
How do I get True Spirits? Reach Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4, enter the Blessed Land, and summon with Heavenly Sound Bells.
Can it be played without paying? It is a free download with in-app purchases; the exact pay thresholds are unpublished, and we do not speculate.

What the Chinese Hub Covers#

The Chinese hub splits the game into dedicated sub-pages: beginner basics, class analysis, divine arts and skill pairing, equipment and items, quests, world exploration, True Spirit cultivation, PvP, achievements, challenge modes, controls and settings, an FAQ, a gallery, lore and worldview, practical resources, tips, version updates, and a full walkthrough.

Information Boundaries#

This page reflects a web-wide verification pass from October 2026 and only states what official public materials and the in-game interface can confirm. The following are deliberately omitted as unverifiable:

  • download counts, registered users, and revenue;
  • the official True Spirit total and complete roster (only verified names are listed);
  • the number and names of specific scenes and maps;
  • skill multipliers, enhancement success rates, drop rates, gacha probabilities, and realm-breakthrough success rates;
  • the regulatory license record — third-party channel pages carry two mutually contradictory entries, and neither is adopted here.

Where anything here disagrees with the live game, the live game wins.

  • Genshin — the open-world Chinese fantasy RPG, for the same mythology-steeped aesthetic in an active-action package
  • Wuthering Waves — another Chinese live-service RPG where long-term character planning drives progress
  • Zenless Zone Zero — an urban-flavored action RPG from HoYoverse, a different slice of the Chinese mobile scene
  • Where Winds Meet — a wuxia open-world RPG drawing on the same classical Chinese fantasy tradition
  • Vampire Survivors — the purest expression of auto-battling, idle-friendly progression loops
