Beginner’s Guide#
Master of the World is a Chinese-mythology cultivation idle RPG. Set one expectation before starting: daily battles don’t need you at the controls — configuration and progress are the real gameplay. This guide covers what to do (and not do) at the start, from verifiable material only.
1. Claim the Newcomer Rewards First#
The official store listing names three newcomer rewards, all worth confirming on day one:
| Reward | Detail |
|---|---|
| Free 400 summons | Built into the free system; usable once True Spirit summoning opens |
| 7-day sign-in | Rewards across seven consecutive days |
| First-month 30-day sign-in | The long-line daily reward for your first month |
Exact claim entrances and rules follow the game. The 400 summons tie directly into True Spirit summoning — see section 6.
2. Character Creation: The Three Classes#
The first real decision is your class. The three classes’ full titles and Foundation-era core divine arts:
| Class | Full Title | Core Divine Art | Play Pattern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lingxiao | Lingxiao, the Way of Force | Thousand-Seizing Spear Canon | Battle-qi core build, sustained output |
| Wanjian | Wanjian, the Way of the Sword | Cloud-Sky Sword Canon | Basic attacks become sword qi; leans on basic-attack crits |
| Yutian | Yutian, the Way of Arts | Thunder-Wielding True Formula | Thunder arts; leans on core and active divine arts; a ranged mage |
When unsure, pick by the output rhythm you enjoy. All three classes can clear every daily content — there is no “wrong pick ruins the account” scenario. Detailed differences live in the Class Analysis page.
3. Interface and Controls#
Daily battles run themselves; only three areas need your hands:
| Focus | Content | Your Action |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration | Which divine arts to equip, which True Spirits to deploy | Decide pre-battle; save it under “My Presets” |
| Progress | Story and realms | Keep pushing — it’s the breakthrough prerequisite |
| Rhythm | Idle and mode loops | Fix it into a routine; don’t let it lapse |
For controls, remember one thing: auto-battle is the default state. The Demon-Suppressing Tower even offers an “auto-next-floor” checkbox for hands-free climbing; take manual control only when auto can’t clear something.
4. The Opening Route#
The first days aren’t about power — they’re about establishing the loop.
- Follow the story and tutorials to learn the interface and auto-battle;
- Claim all three newcomer rewards;
- After choosing a class, raise its core divine art first;
- Join an active sect early — Sect Realms and co-op dungeons require one;
- Set “reach Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4” as your near-term goal — True Spirit summoning opens there;
- Settle one or two main fighting True Spirits and concentrate resources on them.
5. The Daily Rhythm#
An idle game’s income comes mostly from “fixed actions,” so rhythm matters more than intensity:
| Order | Item | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm idle income | Cultivation comes from idle spirit clusters — a lapse directly slows realms |
| 2 | Story and daily quests | Progress, feature unlocks, breakthrough prerequisites |
| 3 | The day’s highest-yield fixed modes | The main resource source |
| 4 | Challenge modes | Save the Demon-Suppressing Tower for after a power jump; ration Demon-Slaying Tokens |
| 5 | Sect content | Sect Realms and the like — clear while you’re there |
6. Starting with True Spirits#
True Spirits are the game’s most important horizontal growth line. The acquisition rules are verified:
- True Spirit summoning opens at Foundation Establishment (Early), Layer 4, inside the Blessed Land;
- Summons cost Heavenly Sound Bells; rarity spans Immortal, Sacred, and Sacred · Rare tiers;
- Every 10 summons guarantees one random full Sacred-rarity True Spirit card;
- The 400 free newcomer summons are usable the moment it opens.
At the start, prioritize a vulnerability slot (Nezha, Bai Ze) — it helps nearly every lineup. After that, add crit-oriented spirits (for Wanjian) or core-divine-art damage spirits (for Lingxiao, Yutian) per your class. Don’t chase a full collection at first — True Spirit value concentrates in a few key picks.
7. Common Misconceptions#
- Playing an idle game like an action game: manual daily input yields nothing extra;
- Retrying the same stage over and over: walls are normal, and every tower attempt burns one Demon-Slaying Token (success or fail) — growth is cheaper than brute force;
- Spreading resources evenly: the biggest waste in any idle game;
- Ignoring idle income: cultivation comes from idle spirit clusters; a lapse is lost progress;
- Skipping the tutorials: True Spirit summoning and “My Presets” both unlock early — skipping them costs detours;
- Trusting unsourced numbers: gacha rates and similar figures are unpublished; treat guides full of mystery numbers as fabrications first.
8. Information Boundaries#
This page carries only what can be checked against official material and the game’s interface. The following are omitted because they cannot be verified:
- XP requirements, exact daily output and idle income figures;
- The complete sub-layer list per realm and breakthrough success rates;
- The official True Spirit total and full roster.
The in-game tutorials, system descriptions and interface tips are the authoritative source; where this page disagrees, the game wins.
9. FAQ#
| Question | Answer |
