| Dynamic Command RPG Battle | The official name for this game’s combat: turn-based commands layered with positioning, environmental weapons, and QTE follow-up inputs |
| 27-Job System | Each character has a different job pool; Kasuga opens as the makeshift Hello Worker before switching to Hero |

| Official Chinese Voice Acting | The series’ first official Chinese dub, covering roughly 40,000 lines and 20 songs, with both Simplified and Traditional Chinese subtitles |
Main Story Structure#
| Stage | Chapter Range | Structure |
|---|---|---|
| Kasuga’s Early Arc | Chapters 1–7 | Told from Ichiban Kasuga’s point of view; begins in Yokohama in Chapter 1, then moves to Hawaii from Chapter 2 |
| Parallel Plotlines | Chapters 8–13 | Kasuga’s party and Kiryu’s party split: Kasuga stays in Hawaii while Kiryu operates in Japan |
| Final Chapter | Chapter 14 (Finale) | The two plotlines converge, with both protagonists sharing the screen time |
The main story runs 14 chapters in total (Chapters 1–13 plus the finale), and every chapter title is an Elvis Presley song. Dondoko Island unlocks in Chapter 6; the Hawaiian Haunt labyrinth in Honolulu and the Yokohama Underground labyrinth unlock in Chapter 5 and Chapter 10 respectively.
Progression Guide#
| Stage | Main Objectives |
|---|---|
| Opening (Chapter 1) | Learn turn-based positioning and command combat; Adachi and Nanba join the party at the end of Chapter 1 |
| Early Game (Chapters 2–7) | Advance the Honolulu main story, unlock Sujimon and Dondoko Island side systems, and spread out your jobs through Hello Work |
| Mid Game (Chapters 8–13) | Fight on two separate fronts, raise bonds through Drink Links and Bond Bingo, and grind job levels |
| Endgame (post-finale) | Free roam in Premium Adventure, deep-floor runs of the two labyrinths, pushing Dondoko Island to five stars, and the King battle in the Sujimon League |
The substories are part of the long haul too: 52 of them are scattered across both cities, and several characters join your party through them rather than the main story.

Platform Notes#
Resolution and frame rate figures per console version follow the official spec page, and this site makes no specific numeric claims about them. Verified platform facts include PS5 support for DualSense adaptive triggers, Denuvo anti-tamper on the PC version, and official Steam Deck Verified status for the Steam release. Cross-platform save transfer has not been documented in verifiable official material, so treat the official pages as the source of truth.
An Important Note on New Game+#
The base release does not include New Game+. NG+ is part of the paid Master Vacation Bundle DLC, which adds Normal / Hard / Legendary difficulty tiers, the new bonus story labyrinth “Big Swell,” and 9 new achievements/trophies. This paywall drew criticism when it was announced in September 2023, and as of this hub’s verification date (October 10, 2026) there has been no announcement making it free. Confirm whether you actually need NG+ and Big Swell before buying.
What the base game unlocks for free after you clear the story is Premium Adventure, a free-roam mode where you can keep working on substories, collectibles, and minigame goals.
