Upgrades are essential to progress deeper into the Blue Hole and unlock new areas. You can upgrade gear at Cobra’s workshop, weapons at the weapon bench, and the farm through Duff’s quests. This guide covers every upgrade path in Dave the Diver.

Oxygen is your lifeline underwater. Without enough oxygen, you cannot explore deeper areas or fight bosses effectively. Upgrading your oxygen tank is the single most important early investment.

Upgrade Tips / 升级建议#

Prioritize oxygen tank upgrades before anything else. Each level significantly increases your underwater endurance. The Level 3 upgrade (Deep Tank) is a major milestone that opens up the mid-game. Without it, you will struggle to reach the Sea People village and deeper caves.

The diving suit is your second priority after oxygen. At Level 3, you can survive most mid-game encounters without constant health management. The speed boost also helps you cover more ground before running out of air.
