Forza Horizon 5 features over 500 drivable cars, ranging from early 20th-century classics to the latest electric hypercars. Vehicles are categorized by performance index (PI) and type. Understanding the classification system is fundamental to choosing the right car for each event.
性能等级 / Performance Classes
PI（Performance Index）系统将车辆分为七个等级，从最低的 D 级到最高的 X 级。等级越高，车辆综合性能越强。每个等级内数值跨度越大，代表车辆差异越大。比赛通常限定在特定等级内进行。
The PI (Performance Index) system divides cars into seven classes, from the lowest D class to the highest X class. Higher classes mean stronger overall performance. Events are typically restricted to a specific class.

- D 级和 C 级 / D and C Class: 适合新手练习基础操控技巧 / Best for practicing basic handling skills
- B 级 / B Class: 地平线系列最平衡的等级，弯道与直道的完美平衡，线上比赛经常出现 / The most balanced class in the series, perfect corner-to-straight balance, common in online races
- A 级 / A Class: 新手到高手最常使用的等级，性能充足但不难控制 / The most commonly used class across all skill levels, plenty of performance without being hard to control

适用于公路赛和街头赛的全能型车辆。悬挂偏舒适，操控线性，适合日常驾驶和轻度比赛。
All-rounder vehicles suited for road racing and street racing. Comfort-oriented suspension, linear handling, suitable for daily driving and light competition.
越野车 / Offroad Vehicles (OF)
专为越野赛和越野拉力赛设计的车辆。离地间隙高，悬挂行程长，适合在砂石、泥地和沙漠中行驶。
Designed specifically for dirt racing and cross country events. High ground clearance, long suspension travel, suitable for gravel, mud, and desert terrain.

拉力赛车 / Rally Vehicles
