DLC 概述 / DLC Overview#

The Delicious Last Course is a major DLC for Cuphead released on June 30, 2022, developed by Studio MDHR. Priced at 7.99 USD, it adds Inkwell Isle IV featuring five new bosses, the playable character Ms. Chalice, three new weapons, two new charms, and the new Graveyard challenge mode. The DLC retains the hand-drawn animation style and high difficulty of the base game while introducing numerous innovative mechanics.

如何进入 DLC / How to Access the DLC#

After purchasing and installing the DLC, a new entrance to Inkwell Isle IV appears on the game world map. The entrance is located on the right side of Inkwell Isle III and requires completing all content on Inkwell Isle III to access. Once in the DLC area, you can find Ms. Chalice tombstone next to the shop on Inkwell Isle I — interact with it to unlock Ms. Chalice as a playable character.

The DLC features five new bosses, each meticulously designed with unique attack patterns and spectacular visual effects.

盐焗师 / Chef Saltbaker#

The final boss, located at the top of Inkwell Isle IV. Chef Saltbaker is a mad chef, with the battle taking place in a giant kitchen. He has five phases, each with entirely new attack patterns.

Saltbaker throws various kitchen utensils and ingredients. Fire zones on the ground deal continuous damage. Parry pink pot lids for energy. Recommended: Chaser for sustained damage while focusing on dodging.

Saltbaker jumps into a giant mixing bowl, transforming into a blender form. The bowl opening sprays ingredient projectiles while batter waves advance across the ground. This phase requires precise jump timing to avoid batter waves.

Saltbaker attacks with a giant rolling pin as the arena becomes a cutting board. The rolling pin sweeps and slams while dough minions appear. Prioritize clearing minions to avoid being overwhelmed.

Final form — Saltbaker transforms into a giant demon chef. Attack speed reaches maximum with screen-filling bullet patterns requiring extremely fast reactions. This is one of the most challenging phases in the game. Stay calm and only attack during safe windows.

月光帮 / The Moonshine Mob#

A gang of three animals: Sheriff Frog, Ms. Snake, and a member of the Howling Aves. Each member has an independent phase.

Cowboy-style frog using revolvers, with straight and bouncing bullet trajectories. Pink bullets can be parried. The frog also summons sandstorms that obscure vision. Familiarize yourself with the map layout and rely on memory for positioning during sandstorms.

A three-phase airplane level boss, initially a mechanical airship that transforms into different aerial forms in subsequent phases.

The core boss appears as a monster with mechanical wings. Attacks include laser sweeps and tracking missiles. Use the plane compact hitbox to navigate through laser gaps.

The trajectory flies straight then splits into three homing projectiles. Each projectile deals approximately 80% of normal shot damage, but three hits together deal substantial damage. Suitable for large bosses and battles with minions.

Transforms the character into Ms. Chalice. This is the most revolutionary item in the DLC, completely changing gameplay. Recommended for use throughout the DLC, as Ms. Chalice abilities provide clear advantages in DLC levels.

A special challenge mode added in the DLC. In the Graveyard on Inkwell Isle IV, you must complete a series of special parry and combat challenges, each unlocking new content. The final reward is the Divine Relic.
